Information technology is an important foundation for the activities of Airtrade. As such, Airtrade developed a booking engine for online travel providers with which real-time reservations for flights, hotels, rental cars, and package travel can be made online. After entry of travel preferences such as dates and destinations, up-to-date information on travel segments and package travel is presented through links with global databases.
The system is modular so that it can be set up according to the preferences of the business partner. Thomas Cook Nederland, ANWB, Schiphol.nl, D-Reizen and various chains of travel agencies, among others, make use of the reservation system developed by Airtrade.
